They don’t hate ‘our freedoms.’ They hate that we’ve betrayed our ideals in their own countries — for oil.
We shouldn’t be there anyway. We are doing a repeat of what we did with Iraq, and Libya, and Afghanistan and that is take out their leaders, destabilize the countries and turn them into breeding grounds for terrorists. Not good, and not very effective at spreading democracy.
Yeah, you’d *think* we would know this by now. But there’s just so much money to be made. Money Trumps Democracy.
