The TPP is the biggest attack on democracy that we know of today, allowing corporations to sue countries that have regulations or laws that affect “potential profits” for these companies. And the lawsuits occur outside the judicial system in special courts set up by the corporations.
Why is the New York Times suddenly pro TPP again? Could it be because Hillary’s VP pick was praising TPP only a week ago?
