In 1977, Carl Bernstein published an exposé of a CIA program known as Operation Mockingbird, a covert program involving, according to Bernstein, “more than 400 American journalists who in the past 25 years have secretly carried out assignments for the Central Intelligence Agency.

With the record of the CIA constantly lying to the public, why the heck are members of our mainstream media falling all over themselves to believe anonymous sources within the CIA that a foreign nuclear power has declared war on us? Why haven’t we learned that our government needs to be questioned every step of the way?
