In a monumental decision that will resonate through election season, the U.S. Senate on Wednesday voted 52-47 to reinstate the net neutrality protections the Federal Communications Commission decided to repeal last December.

Wow, public pressure can work! But it still has to pass the house and be signed by Trump.. two things that are pretty unlikely, but hey, at least it’s a start and can put pressure on politicians leading up to the year’s election.
