That's democracy in action!
In a major win for consumers, Sen. Pat Roberts (R-Kan.) yesterday failed to attract the votes he needed to end debate on a bill known to opponents as the Deny Americans the Right to Know Act, or DARK Act. It fell far short of the 60-vote threshold required to advance the bill.
I live in Los Angeles and have long standing interests in human rights, politics, health, the environment, art & design, and of course film and tv which is my chosen profession. I have worked in scripted and documentary film and most recently for shows such as the critically acclaimed docu-series, "I Am Cait" and "Born This Way." I have found I can merge many of my interests working for this getup, Underground Network, and believe we can collectively create change, "for the people by the people."
