The GOP-controlled state government recently passed a law that critics say amounts to placing a “poll tax” on college students.

The idea is to make students have to register as permanent residents in New Hampshire, get a state driver’s license, register the car in the state, and so on, all costing $300 or more.. and knowing that this is cost prohibitive for most students, it means they won’t be able to vote while at school.

Sneaky.
