[Trump] won — what you have to do now is to figure out what to do about it.
Half of you are happy Trump won, but if you are part of the other half who is not happy, rather than waste your time trying to overturn the results of the electuon, here are 3 things you can do today to keep some of that Trump power in check:
- The Louisiana Senate race. Congressional elections aren’t quite over yet, because Louisiana will elect a senator in a runoff election on December 10. This race will determine whether Republicans have 51 or 52 seats in the next US Senate.
- Cabinet confirmations. The Republican majority in the Senate will be narrow, and Trump will need to hold nearly all Republicans together to confirm controversial picks for jobs that require confirmation. Organized efforts to lobby senators could help stop Trump from creating the Cabinet of your nightmares. But it will be best to focus your opposition on his stranger, more Trumpian picks.
- Medicare.

Yeah, spending millions of dollars on seeing if a state or two had election fiddling – which will do nothing but confirm what we already know, or make people even more angry – won’t do anything to remove Trump from the presidency. Because many of us would like the same done with the primaries, where most assuredly certain state Democratic officials pulled the same shenanigans.
