    “Extends the prohibition against a person taking, failing to take, or threatening to take or fail to take a personnel action against any employee or applicant for employment for refusing to obey an order that would require the individual to violate a law to personnel actions against such an individual for refusing to obey an order that would violate a rule or regulation.”

Directs the Securities and Exchange Commission to provide safety for specific investment fund research reports, and for other purposes.

Establishes the 400 Years of African-American History Commission in order to develop and carry out activities throughout the country in commemoration of the 400th anniversary of the arrival of Africans in the English colonies at Point Comfort, Virginia, in 1619

Requires the SEC to review the government-business forum annually on business capital formation, then publish a statement disclosing possible actions to be taken.

H.R. 1366US Territories Investor Protection Act of 2017

To amend the Investment Company Act of 1940 to terminate an exemption for companies located in Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, and any other possession of the United States.

Amends the North Korea Sanctions and Policy Enhancement Act of 2016 to increase the President’s authority to impose sanctions on persons in violation of certain U.N Security Council resolutions related to North Korea

Provides compensatory time for private sector employees which would allow them to convert accrued overtime hours into at least 1.5 hours of paid off time.
