The Chinese president will no longer be constrained by the term limits that were imposed after Mao Zedong’s tenure.

President Trump told his audience at a donor’s meeting last week that China’s president, Xi Jinping, was now “president for life,” and added: “I think it’s great. Maybe we’ll want to give that a shot someday.”
