This is an interesting move by the new Prime Minister Theresa May, who is looking to unify her party by renewing some of Britain’s nuclear weapon systems. This seems to be her way of showing to the world that the U.K. will remain a world power even after they leave the European Union. In other words, the proposal is a very expensive power move.
