Biden Says He Will Convene Bipartisan Commission To Study Reforms To U.S. Courts

The Democratic nominee envisions a bipartisan group of constitutional scholars who would, after 180 days, make recommendations to reform the court system, which Biden calls “out of whack.”

Packing the court refers to something FDR threatened to do when the Supreme Court tried to stop his New Deal from happening. It means putting more judges on the Supreme Court to try to stop such politically one-sided decisions from happening when the court has too many judges appointed by one political party.

People feel that the only way progressive legislation will be able to happen moving forward once Trump installs his 3 Judges to the Supreme Court as well as hundreds of judges in lower courts, is if the Supreme Court changes its 6-3 Conservative makeup to something more balanced.
