“In the Facebook generation when people put more and more of their own personal data out there…”

This is from the U.K., in light of the recent terrorist acts over there and that government now wanting to do away with encryption. But it shows a complete disregard for the concept of the right to privacy.

Young people may be sharing personal information online, only because they are benefiting from such sharing, but that doesn’t mean that there are personal things young people also don’t want shared with anyone.

Snd they certainly don’t want repressive governments violating their privacy to inflict harm on them.
