And it’s not just New York. This country’s voter turnout is atrocious, and I think this year we’re starting to see why people feel so apathetic about it. We see Arizona’s mess; we see Rhode Island closing polling places prior to what will be record-breaking voter turnout, etc. It’s totally fucked up. And to top that off, the media doesn’t even mention it beyond maybe a blurb or two.
Here we are – America- the country who goes in and ‘teaches’ other countries how to be democratic. Gimme a break, man.
