It’s not just a phase.

Great article explaining why we have become so fragmented as a nation (social media algorithms enhancing the spread of the most extreme viewpoints of both the right and the left), that coupled with both sides then attacking people on their own sides who question some of their own extreme viewpoints, thus silencing and middle-ground thought, and the result is where we are today.

The article then goes on to offer solutions to get us back to a society and a democracy where we can start agreeing again about things, which is needed for any democracy to work.
