Volkswagen is cutting 30,000 jobs over the next three years as it tries to boost profits in the wake of a huge emissions scandal.

VW gets caught breaking the law and gets fined for doing so. So who gets punished as a result? 30,000 employees lose their jobs so that VW can keep its profits up.

Seems fair, right?
