The new president has reinstated a policy first instituted by Ronald Reagan in 1984.
This goes even further than Reagan’s original policy.. organizations that even mention “abortion” as an option for women get no funding. This is a backdoor approach to banning abortion around the world, even though it’s legal in the United States.
