It looks almost like a campaign by the city!  In one night this week, ALL of the telephone boxes on a stretch of Melrose were painted with designs by some of the best street artists in Los Angeles. Check them out!  Amazing stuff.  It appears to have been planned weeks in advance as all the boxes had been painted white a week or two earlier.

Great job!  I hope the city will allow them to stay for a little while at least!
