US acknowledges coalition planes may have accidentally hit government forces while Russia demands explanation at United Nations in New York this week
This latest round of airstrikes demonstrates that the US has no idea what it’s doing in Syria. Since the Syrian army is combatting ISIS and the Russians are as well, so why did the US kill Syrian army soldiers when we’re all supposedly fighting the same enemy?
The Syrian’s are rightfully pissed, and a Russian spokesperson stated the following:
“We are reaching a really terrifying conclusion for the whole world: that the White House is defending Islamic State. Now there can be no doubts about that,” she said, according to the state-owned news agency.
We get it, you have to take what the Russians say with a grain of salt, but seriously, are we fighting ISIS? Or are we helping them? We need to make up our mind.
