The seams of the global economic order were deeply frayed by the pandemic. Could this conflict cause it to unravel?

Perhaps it’s time to stop letting corporations get everything they want and start thinking about the people and the jobs within your own country.

Globalization contributed massively to inequality within countries, by letting corporations treat people as a disposable line-item thing. They shifted jobs to countries that treat their people worse, thus saving money and increasing profits.

Those profits did not return to the people, they stayed in the hands of the shareholders, and people saw their wages stagnate or even decrease, over time.

It’s time to reverse that trend and let the common person also reap the benefits of corporate success.
