He met with police officers and activists.
Everyone demands change at a different pace. Dealing with gun violence and racial issues brings the dichotomy of desirable change to the forefront.
But, change itself can’t happen overnight, and to expect hasty change can result in dire consequences. That said, to see that the conversation is happening and it is being discussed at the very top with people from multiple communities, shows that this problem had begun its journey to reform.
