Bernie Sanders has assured Vice President Joe Biden that he’ll eventually endorse his Democratic primary rival Hillary Clinton, Biden told an interviewer Thursday. But the Vermont senator quickly pushed back, saying, “We’re not there quite yet.”

In the past few weeks I have seen a lot of coverage around the Republican Party’s inability to maintain unity during this election, but it looks like the same is true for the Democrats. Now that Bernie’s chances of getting into the oval office have been effectively crushed, he should probably back Clinton if his goal is really to defeat Donald Trump.
