A ‘nuclear’ confrontation in the Senate could come as soon as next week.
Looks like Gorsuch may not get the votes needed to be confirmed and the Republicans may invoke the “Nuclear Option” which means that the Democrats won’t be able to filibuster decisions anymore. Since the filibuster was created by mistake in the first place, even though this is the worst time for the filibuster to go away, it’s very possible it may and the Republicans will get everything they want for the next 2 years!
