The US will have spent nearly $6 trillion on the war on terror by October 2019, a new report says, as the human cost of the war continues rising.

Think about all the things $6 Trillion can buy: it could eliminate all student debt ($1.4T), repair all of the country’s crumbling infrastructure ($3T), provide free healthcare for everyone in the country, and so on. Instead, we seem to be wasting it on a war that only seems to be making things worse in the world!
